My strong points in word choice are finding the right words to help my essay or inpromtu sound scholarly, but my weak points is finding the right words to describe things.
I used to study from a vocabulary workbook, and we would have to memorize the definitions and synonyms and antonyms of words, which was really hard, but very helpful. We would also have crossword puzzles to memorize the definitions.
Personally, i used to learn new words from my elders, like my big sister and big brother. When i was younger and they said a word that amazed me, i would ask what it meant, and they would tell me.
My goal for word choice, is to expand my vocabulary, because i want to be very scholarly, when i write essays and do speeches. I would like to learn many new words this semester. My evidence would be using more scholar words in my essays and proper grammar.
